Welcome to Langkawi Mangrove Tour Kilim Geoforest Park. We bring you to have a fun tour which is suitable for young and elderly. Book for private/sharing boat tour of Mangrove Tour Kilim Geopark Langkawi.

Langkawi Mangrove Kilim Geoforest Park consists of three river estuaries that stretch from the Kisap village approximately 10 km to Tanjung Rhu and they are interconnected. There is also a bat cave within the Mangrove Kilim Geoforest Park, a favorite stop for tourists. Limestone, inherently porous, forms caves and there are several on the Langkawi Mangrove Tour.

We will bring you a stop at Bat Cave. The boatman will berth the boat closer to the jetty, so you can step out to the stairs that lead to the cave mouth. Walk along the walkway to the cave entrance, then enter the cave. Once you are inside, you will ‘feel’ something on top of you. They are bats. You may use the torch light to spot them – hundreds of bats are hanging at the cave ceiling. If you snap a photo with flash, you will be able to see the bats and the cave ceiling clearly on your monitor screen. Keep walking. At the other end, there is another cave mouth, so you just walk straight further and start looking outside of the cave with half round until come to the jetty – the boat is ready to proceed your tour.

FK Travel & Tours not only bring you to the cave but we will bring you to explore and meet animals, birds, and dolphins if you’re lucky. The boat continues to cruise to the mangrove area where the boatman will throw some chicken intestine into the water, in minutes, dozens of Brahminy Kite (eagle) will fly out from the mangrove trees to catch their ‘food’. Snap the flying eagle with your camera. The eagle is flying up and down around the boat. This is what they call eagle feeding.

Done with the eagle feeding, proceed on your mangrove tour to the open ocean, here you can see the Street of Malacca. Over there look at the huge signage saying ‘KILIM GEOFOREST PARK’. Many people went there to take photos of the signage.

The Kilim mangrove tour is not ended yet, because the boatman will then proceed to the Crocodile Cave. It is a cave but without a crocodile. Unlike Bat Cave, we can meet bats, but not Mr. Croc. During low tide, the cave mouth is left open and the boat can easily enter the cave with the boat. It doesn’t have a dry floor for you to walk on. We will cruise through the cave, just by boat.

Fish Farm is another stop. Here at the fish farm, people come to see different types of fish and the one that will interest you is the stingrays. Many love to feed them because they are tame animals. But if you opt for 3 hours mangrove tour, we will be going to the beach. Over there of course beach activities will take place. Don’t forget your swimsuit.

We have also 4 hours mangrove tour and this time we will add one island for you to visit. At Dangli Island, you can feed the fish from the boat. Don’t forget to bring bread for fish feeding. If the weather is good, you can add on a snorkeling activity for RM15 per person. However, the add-on of snorkeling gear must be made before boat departure at the jetty.

If you plan to have lunch somewhere during the tour, please do that after you complete the mangrove tour. Try not to waste time at the table waiting for your lunch. We will consider the waiting time as a part of the tour. Kindly tell the boatman to drop you at anywhere that you like to have lunch.
